Compressed Fibre Sheet

The Flexitallic SF , Novus™ and RGS range of compressed sheet fibre and graphite sheet are designed for a wide range of applications where sealing performance and specification are essential.

A comprehensive range of grades are available covering a wide spectrum of applications, chemical compatibility and sealing performance.
Sheet Jointing can be supplied in sheet form or as cut gaskets, either to standard or non-standard dimensions.
Also available in sheet form - Thermiculite® high performance material, developed for use in high temperature applications.

  • Thermiculite® 714 Fibre Sheet

    THERMICULITE® 714 is specially recommended for use in applications where mineral acids have to be sealed. It gives excellent performance in concentrated sulphuric and hydrochloric acids and can be used to seal nitric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 200°C

  • SF2800 Sheet

    SF2800 Sheet

    A general purpose sheet material reinforced with aramid fibres and bound with nitrile rubber. SF 2800 complies with the British Standard for non-asbestos sheet sealing materials - BS 7531 Grade Y. Colour green.
    Suitable for use across a broad spectrum of industrial applications involving steam (including super-heated steam), water, oils, solvents, fuels, gases, general chemicals, dilute acids and alkalis.

    • Max Temperature: 400°C (750°F)
    • Max Pressure: 12 MPa 1740 psig (120 bar)
  • SF3300 Sheet

    SF3300 Sheet

    A premium quality sheet material reinforced with a blend of aramid and glass fibers and bound with nitrile rubber. SF 3300 complies with the highest grade of the British Standard for non-asbestos sheet sealing materials - BS 7531 Grade X.
    For applications in split case pumps where a thin, complex gasket capable of withstanding a high surface stress is required, SF 3500, a variant of SF 3300, has been developed.  Where caustic liquors have to be sealed a variant of SF 3300 reinforced with a blend of aramid and carbon fibers is offered: this material, SF 5000 is widely used in the pulp and paper industry.

  • SF3500 Sheet

    SF3500 Sheet

    SF 3500 is a superior performance compressed non-asbestos gasket material ideal for use in pumps (including split case). It is constructed with glass and aramid fiber reinforcement, and it uses a NBR binder.

    A high performance gasket material suitable for sealing in a wide range of demanding applications

    SF5000 Sheet

    SF 5000 is an NBR based, non-asbestos sheet sealing material, reinforced with carbon and aramid fibers. SF 5000 is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications including oils, fuels, steam, water and dilute acids. SF 5000 is especially suitable for sealing caustic liquors.

    Novus 10 Sheet

    5G Sheet MaterialA universal grade especially suitable for use under alkaline conditions with good steam resistance. It also possesses excellent creep resistance and is suitable for use with oils, fuels and refrigerants. Premium quality carbon fibre reinforced material, with a high quality Nitrile rubber binder.
